Hi everyone, A big thank you goes out to TJ and Cosmic Comics! Our First Sat Singles was great fun, dry weather and a doubled purse of the pros and ams. TJ paid out the top 2/3 of the Ams in script, their choice of discs and top 1/2 open players. Thank you to those Seattle folks who made it up.
Silver Lake is this weekend. WDGC board memebers are going to help lay out the course on Friday late afternoon. The night to camp is Friday with some glo golf. WDGC is not running th event, we just wanted to get the word out. Sat. is the big tourney, not sure of entry fees or start time so show up early. The course will be fun to play and challenging as well. For all those who have supported Thurs Night Doubles, we will be BBQing burgers for lunch on Sat. Come and see us. See you there. There are patches of snow remaining on some holes, but not enouph to stop a monthly event! The tee pads are of good shape, but wear boots and expect slush like conditions in some places. lets hope for no snow and I'll see everyone tommorow.

We are currently planning on having our monthly First Sat Singles the day before the Super Bowl. Snow fall and accumulation is the concern. Mossy Roc is a few hundred feet above sea level and retains snow longer than city limits. Currently the course is playable, but who knows if we'll get more snow.
I am monitoring the situation and will post a cancellation, if necessary, by Friday afternoon. If weather allows we will follow the same format: Player's Meeting at 10AM One round of 21 holes Lunch break Round Two 21 holes if day light permits or Open- holes 9-18 AMs - holes 1-8 $10 entry with $2 going towards baskets Open pays out cash Ams pay out discs
Thank you everyone and GO GIANTS!!! [Submitted by Sully]
